The first batch of “Taking Root” film screening packets were sent out yesterday. Over 70 films have been mailed to Forest Justice Advocates in locations as far away as India and Oman, while some were sent only across town to George Washington University.
The conference room at the DC National Wildlife Office was filled with ‘Taking Root’ films and Forest Justice shwag. Boxes made from recycled paper were filled with the “Taking Root” DVD, Tshirts, stickers, and a USB drive with the Forest Justice Toolkit.
There are several helpful resources in the Forest Justice Toolkit including a Forest Justice Organizing Guide, a “Taking Root” flyer and “Taking Root” Posters, to help promote the film on your campus.
Its not too late to host a “Taking Root” film screening at your school. Sign up today to join in on the 350 International day of Climate Action.
